We accept most professional file types, however we prefer files come as a JPG (Photoshop),TIFF (Photoshop), EPS (Generic), or AI (<=Illustrator 9 – Create outlines please.)Optimal settings are 300dpi in CMYK (4 color process) color mode. We cannot take responsibility for slight color changes in files submitted in RGB mode or pixilated graphics in files under 300dpi. Please bare in mind that Altitude Studio will not rerun your stock because of slight color differences due to not closely reading the top paragraph.

Main Paper Type

All postcards and business cards are printed on 12 point card stock with an uv coating. In less you would like something different. Keep in mind that the prices could vary.

Files Accepted

We accept any Mac or PC rasterized file format. This includes tiffs, jpegs, flattened psds, flattened pdfs, and eps. If you are going to send an eps, please convert all fonts to curves or outlines.

What Do We Print

In short, we print EVERYTHING. Quality Output

Because of the nature of “gang run” style printing Altitude Studio shall not be held responsible for the following issues which may occur during our production process: variation in color, offset (smudges), cutting variations, marking, picking, etc. Customer acknowledges that they are receiving gang run style printing at a substantial price discount and expedited delivery times and thus said printing will not be held to the same standard as traditional offset lithography nor generally accepted printing standards. While every effort will be made to satisfy our customer’s needs, requests for reprints or credits based on quality issues will not be recognized.

Claims

Claims for defects, damages, or shortages must be made by the client in writing no later than 10 calendar days after delivery. If no such claim is made, Altitude Studio and the client will understand that the job has been accepted. By accepting the job, the client acknowledges that Altitude Studio’s performance has fully satisfied all terms, conditions and specifications.

Color Proofing

Because of differences in equipment, paper, inks, and other conditions between color proofing and production pressroom operations, a “pleasing color” variation between color proofs and the completed job [as determined by generally accepted trade technical methods] is to be expected. When such a variation occurs, it will be considered acceptable performance.

Cancelations

Canceled orders require compensation for incurred costs and related obligations at the time of cancellation. Due to the speed of our turnaround, you may only cancel a job the same business day you place your order (via e-mail). A minimum charge of $45 is applied to jobs canceled before our evening cutoff time of 4pm. A minimum charge of $55 is applied to jobs canceled before plating occurs at 6pm. No refunds will be given for orders canceled after 6pm of the same business day the order was placed.

Orders

Altitude Studios reserves the right to use its sole discretion in refusing to print anything it deems improper or known to be illegal. Altitude Studios is not liable for any damages resulting from unwitting violation of copyright laws or illegal use of trade names or slogans. The client guarantees the legal title of all matter submitted Altitude Studios for printing and/or publication.

Why Are Our Prices So Low?

Because we are a “gang run” style print company, we are able to offer lower prices than our competition. We print the day’s orders on a 40” x 28” sheet and cut the jobs apart in order to reduce the costs of making plates and other fixed setup charges. Your job needs special attention? No problem! We can do extras such as perforations, folding, scoring, binding, die-cutting, 5th (and 6th) colors, and more!

Payment Options

Due to our quick turnaround, all orders must be prepaid. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. If you would like to pay with a check or money order, please overnight the check to us. Most of our customers use the Post Office’s Express Mail for this Please understand no work will be done in less payment has been received. If your total amount is more than $2,000 please ask one of the agents about paying half and than the other half when the job is done. Thanks for your understanding Altitude Studios.

What Is 24 Hour Turnaround?

All complete jobs are printed and shipped within 24hrs, with the exception of booklets.
